Dani is currently working in the studio with producer Lachlan Campbell on two debut singles.
They have been busy over the last few months recording instruments live for an authentic sound to suit Dani's country/folk/rock feel.
"It was important to me to use real instruments. There is so much amazing software available now but there is nothing like the sound of a real bow on real strings and the squeak of a finger moving on the guitar's fretboard. I wanted both singles to feel like there was a band playing in the room (which really there was!). I don't want listeners just to hear the music, I want them to feel it and hearing these squeaks and bow noises increases that feel. Lachlan totally has the knack for this, as an authentic and talented musician himself. He's a fantastic producer to work with. It's all about finding people on a similar wavelength that you can also learn from. I'm very lucky to have this in Lachlan and from Steve and Graham in the band!" - Dani Blue.
